TIP: When you are feeling completely unmotivated, take this one valid action and the feelings of 'umph' will follow: Do the 10-minute timeout!
Look around & discover which area you've been wanting to tackle the most. Set a timer for 10-minutes & make yourself get up & started on doing as much as you can on that partcular area of your choice within that time. Not finished? No biggie, you can choose to do this again the next day. Be sure to add on 5 more minutes each new week. After a short time, your energy will begin to come back again & your home will start to get de-cluttered.
*If you honestly cannot find any chores needing to be finished on any given day, substitute the 10-minute timeout for a quick workout or jog around the house to boost your heart rate.
Today's additional 10 minute timeout challenge:
On top of the above 10-minute timeout, I want everyone to be completely dressed (shoes too) & have your hair done. This will help to motivate you. Music & even fragrances will as well,but is optional. After that is done, this months additional 10 minute timeout will be: Focusing on clutter! Look under your bed or in that closet & begin your additional 10 minutes... |
